We are exploring practical ways to use AI to improve access to theatre information, cultural resources and community services while keeping people at the centre of important decisions.
Our planned Claude initiative
We are exploring an AI-powered community and theatre information assistant that can help users discover relevant performances, cultural resources, educational information and practical guidance. Claude would also assist our small nonprofit team with research, organising information, drafting content, summarising community feedback and reducing repetitive administrative work.
Technology should make cultural participation easier — not replace the people, artists and communities that create it.
This initiative is currently in the planning/prototyping stage. AI-generated information will be reviewed by people before it is used for important public-facing decisions.
Why AI
More capacity for a small nonprofit team.
As a community-focused nonprofit, we have limited time and resources. Responsible AI could help us spend less time on repetitive information and administration and more time on artists, audiences, partnerships and community participation.
We are particularly interested in reliable retrieval and summarisation, multilingual information support, content workflows and evaluation methods that keep human review in the loop.
